HOLISTIC BIRTH & POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

My name is Natalie

I am deeply passionate about supporting families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My goal is to provide a strong foundation of support, empowering parents to have a healthy, informed, and connected experience. Whether through educational resources, personalized guidance, or emotional support, I am here to uplift you every step of the way.

I recognize that each family’s journey is unique, and I am committed to offering services that are tailored to your individual needs. Together, we’ll create a positive and memorable experience for you and your growing family.

I am the proud owner and creator of Wise Baby Bee, which was born from my dedication to helping families during one of life’s most transformative times. With a skilled, compassionate team by my side, we’re able to extend our support to even more families than I could on my own. I have personally trained and mentored the amazing doulas who are part of our team, ensuring we all share the same passion, expertise, and values. Living in the beautiful Yampa Valley, I’ve witnessed the lack of birth work services in the area, and I’m committed to ensuring that every family here has access to the nurturing care and expert guidance they deserve.

I attended my first birth in 2017 and never looked back. Since then, my love for birth work has only grown. I am also a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and I have a deep passion for nutrition, all of which I incorporate into my work to support holistic well-being. Together, we can create a calm, empowering, and positive experience as you navigate this incredible journey.

Meet the Wise Baby Bee Team

  • Hi Familes! My name is Hanna Rodis & I work as a Doula for Wise Baby Bee Doula Services in Steamboat Springs, CO!

I am also a high school science teacher with a background in biology and education. Alongside my teaching career, I’m passionate about supporting families as a doula, where I combine my scientific knowledge with a deep commitment to nurturing and guiding parents through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

I grew up here in Steamboat but left the valley for 10 years. I earned my degree in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California in 2014 and a master’s in Education from the University of the Pacific. After living in California "the mountains were calling" so I came home.

I had the privilege of supporting my best friend through her first birth and after this life-changing experience, I decided I needed to become a certified doula. I want to help support more women and their families through this exciting, intimidating, and beautiful experience of childbirth.

I am committed to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, and personalized care, always respecting each family's unique needs, beliefs, and preferences. My strong communication and listening skills, combined with my knowledge of evidence-based practices, enable me to offer emotional, physical, and practical support throughout this journey. My ultimate goal is to promote positive birth experiences, bonding, and well-being for both parents and babies. I am genuinely passionate about doula support and dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of families. I look forward to walking this journey with you!

  • Hi! I’m Nya Norling and I work as a birth and postpartum doula with Wise Baby Bee Doula Services.

In this beautiful time where so many changes are taking place, I am here to offer you and your family educational, emotional, physical and spiritual support. It is my goal to provide you with knowledge and resources while celebrating the wisdom you already hold. Listening deeply to your personal experience, my support will shift based on YOU and your specific needs and wants.

I have always carried a deep love of caring for others and have a special perspective to help provide a rooted avenue through the perinatal timeframe. I have years of experience with pain management techniques, nervous system support and ways of helping tune into the body from a place of rest. As well as my doula services, I provide Reiki, sound therapy and light massage techniques such as acupressure, craniosacral therapy and lymphatic massage. Intricate exploration with a unique mixture of these has allowed peaceful, comprehensive healing to take place in my own life. Alongside my awareness of medical knowledge, I am so happy to be able to offer this to you and help bring the intuitive to meet the medical at a time where perhaps it is most important.

My overall approach is calm and gentle with an emphasis on compassionate and clear communication. Working to facilitate harmonious interactions between you and your healthcare providers, I help give a complete look into what is happening within and around you in each new scenario. Wherever and however you choose to give birth, I am honored to provide loving care to you and your family. It is incredibly important to me to give you the necessary space and time to create a deep bond with your baby. I have had the opportunity to take multiple different doula trainings, each with different perspectives and teachings on pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Along with continued education online and in person, I am devoted to widening my knowledge and providing the most evidence based support possible. I also co-lead a Mother’s Circle at the Hayden Library to allow mammas at all stages a place of connection and insight.

My purpose is to be there for you at the center of your birth and help you create a sense of safety where you feel you are being lifted up and held so you can step into your own power. You may not be able to control the many ways this journey may take you, but you can create the guidelines that you want enveloping your experience. I would love to help you have the birth and postpartum recovery you want. xoxo

 What we do

Offering resources, education, support and community for new and expecting mamas who want to thrive.

A Team-Based Approach to Your Care

At Wise Baby Bee, we believe birth takes a village — and we show up like one. When you choose our team, you’ll be matched with a lead doula who has availability during your estimated due window. She’ll guide your prenatal journey, be on call for your birth, and provide your in-home postpartum visits.

Behind the scenes, we’re always working together. We cross-train, check in, and back each other up, so you are never without support. Life happens — babies are unpredictable, and so are we as humans. But with us, you’ll never be left wondering who’s showing up.

You’ll feel the continuity of care while also knowing there's a full-hearted team holding you — professionally, personally, and lovingly.
